Son Voyage en Israel!!!

A quickie blog!!!
Petit Message de Marié!!!
"Hey All -
I am leaving for the airport at 6 am today.. and I haven't finished packing yet!
It feels like I just got off of tour but I'm going to be back out on the road again.. this time in JAPAN !!!! 'Unfold' just came out on Aug. 6th and I'm going out there to visit family as well as to promote the album. This is something I've been waiting a looong time to do and I'm going to do my best to document the trip and keep you all updated !
Also, thanks to all of the wonderful fans and friends in the Philippines, there is a good chance that I may stop by after my trip to Japan. I know that my label out there (Universal) is scrambling to get together all of the necessary tickets, hotels, shows.. etc.. but it's not a guarantee yet ! I am crossing my fingers that it works out though because I've been wanting to visit Manila now for a while! Thank you to all of you who have gone out and bought my CD - it's because of the support you've shown that I might have a chance to come and meet you face to face :)
Okay, back to packing... OH! random side note - I was at the grocery store today picking out some dinner ( I decided on a tomato, buffalo mozzarella, and basil panini) and while I was perusing the aisles, first I heard ' You Raise Me UP' by Josh Groban.. i was pleasantly singing along.. AND THEN.......... "the thing about love.. is i never saw it coming'.. comes blaring over the speakers.
So there I was, checking out granola bars and giddily smiling to myself while 'Say It Again' was playing at the grocery store. kinda fun*
ok. SEE you all across the Ocean !!!!!!!

Marié Digby - Voice on The Radio (Original Song)
I played a show in Richmond, Virginia a few days ago.. I had some time to kill before the show so I decided to find an empty room at the venue to do a video.
I walked all around the building until I found what looked to be a former nursery or children's room. It was a little creepy but it had a great echo.. and no, I did not add any reverb to this video ! It's all because of the high ceilings and hard wood floors.
So here's a bit of my original song' voice on the radio'.. hope you enjoy :)
.... Several years ago... I fell in love with the lead singer of a rock band. I went to see a show and there was something about his voice, his songs, his demeanor that completely captivated me. I wrote this song about the way it felt to stand amongst a bunch of screaming girls who were basically willing to do anything to get this guys attention.. and feeling so stupid ... stupid enough that I turned and went home and decided instead to write a song that exactly described what it felt like to knowingly fall for someone I don't even know - knowing that's ridiculous - but not being able to deny the feeling nonetheless ....

I've been writing a bit while out on the road... I am in Allentown PA today and thought I'd take a minute to record this new song ;) I found a nice little nook behind the hotel and in order for me to make the video happen .... I found an abandoned chair in the parking lot (missing an arm) and a shopping cart which I used to prop the computer with the camera. Hope you like it !

On Tour! Video!!
"Hey guys - I've been on the road now for almost 9 weeks straight (if I include my time in Asia !). My first tour was with Eric Hutchinson and Justin Nozuka. I had the most amazing time on the road with them !! Now I am on tour with Gavin Degraw and I'm going to try my best and keep you updated while out on the road ;) hope you are all very well !

Tour 1 is coming to an end :( ....

"Here is a little picture wrap-up of my first tour. Tomorrow will be the very last day (six weeks total !!). After having spent every day of the last six weeks with 10 other people, I've come to feel like they are family. We already said our goodbyes to the Nozuka's (justin, anthony and mark). But tomorrow will be the last day with Eric , Jimmy, Kyle, Joni (and Tom even though he had to go home a bit early as well ).
I have a bunch more pictures to share with you guys but here are some to start it off. Some are by me, most are by Lance and some are by Joni.
After tomorrow will be the start of a brand new tour with Gavin Degraw! Hopefully more good stories to come out of that one ;) ... and another opportunity to see all of your faces again !
